Fish tank heaters help please?
Hi i just brought two of the TMC V2 THERMO DIGITAL AQUARIUM HEATER 300W good heaters but i seem to have a problem with one of them. my heater is place near the outlet tube on my filter and has a read of 25 to 26 witch is the right temp for my tank but the other heater. is place at the other end of the tank there no water movement there. but for some way the heater keeps read differnt temps from 28 to 34? but at the end of the tank my reading is 26 i try to reset the heater and still does the same.so move the heater in the middle and it hasa reading of 28.
It's hard to know why the water is not moving around the second filter without assuming it's as your tank is very large.. In that case, 'if' you need both heaters maybe you need also another filter pump to move water round the whole tank.. or.. drop an air line in (not directly onto or too close) near the second heater just to move the water a little to help it work more efficiently.
