will an air pump stone kill my live plants?
i have a 29 gallon freshwater aquarium with tropical fish and plants. my filter is sponge, i have fertilized gravel, and use iron suplement, but i heard that an air pump stone will kill live plants, will it?

No. I can't imagine how it could possibly kill plants.
The only thing remotely related to that that I can think of is that if you're using carbon dioxide gas to promote faster plant growth, an airstone will cause the carbon dioxide to excape from the water more rapidly (which is normally one of the two reasons for using an airstone in a fish tank). Even then, it won't kill the plants, though
